For this week's reading I felt drawn ti this particular tarot deck by Margarete Petersen.. very beautiful and the imagery, although lacking in some of the symbolisms that the Rider Waite has included, it has so much mood, alternate symbolism and feeling attached to it.. it was highlighted to me today.
As I picked up the deck of cards the lot just splashed out and as I gathered the cards, one card I was drawn to was the Justice card before adding that back into the pile to properly shuffle and mix the cards up. Sometimes I notice cards on a pre-shuffle but I usually wait until I ask for the reading first.
That popped back into the deck.. and a good 10mins of shuffling.. these two cards popped out and at the bottom of the deck, the Seven of Feathers. There is a reason I was asked to leave this one visible and the others overtuned and it truly does influence the main reading.
The Seven of Swords (here the Seven of Feathers) is all about an act that you cannot see, something hidden, sometimes something underhand. It can be positive or negative based on the main cards but also on the feeling, for me, that influences the main message. Interesting that there is the shape of the Full/New Moon in the background which to me always symbolises confusion and hidden agenda's that run deep.. this card feels the same but on a lighter superficial level.. thought the claws and teeth depicted around a frail butterfly does feel like a lot of stress, danger and anxiety..
So the first card of the deck that fell out overshadowing the second card (I asked for 1 card, I got 2)..
.. The Justice Card!! AGAIN! It's times like these I wish I had a film of these things as they happen!.. it fell out with a different card than it did when I picked up the deck previously which shows at least I had shuffled the deck plenty before the reading. I often worry about not shuffling enough but low and behold the same card again.
Justice is a card I have received for myself a lot over the last few years.. and today I assumed the first time was a message for purely me before cleansing and shuffling the deck.. not so.
Justice is a Libra card.. so if you are a Libra or one of the other air signs or have this in your chart, Gemini or Aquarius, there may be an extra message here for you.
Other than personifying Libra, Justice is a Major Arcana card.. Which means in a situation in life, this is something you have no control over and is something dished out by the Universe/fate. It is a card of balance and by this it isn't what you per se want but balance takes many forms.. it many not seem fair but it is equal, if that makes sense. Like you wish for a raise for all your hard work done in your current employment and receive a raise only to find out the slacker in your division has also received a raise. Justice. You receive your just deserts but it may not seem fair.. but is absolutely equal for employees in the same job position. It is also seen as a card of fate.
It also has the roman numeral, VIII or no.8, which is usually used in Rider Waite as the Strength Card and Justice is numbered XI, or 11, in the Rider Waite.. an interesting dynamic adds to the Judtice card here where strength is needed or has been needed in a situation or with a person in your life.
I was drawn to find the Strength card in the Rider Waite to show you this.. but also started to separate the lower echo cards of the number eight in the deck too.. and their order makes so much sense to what I'm feeling..
Simplistically these cards say.. Strength > A journey to find what is missing emotionally in your life > feeling trapped with soul searching where you are struggling to make the change > break through and communication come in!
Our second card is Father of Flames.. of Kind of Wands. A passionate masculine energy (I do not use this as gender biased so take what resonates, but this card is all about passion, creativity and being in your power and authority. If you are a fire sign there may be an extra message here for you; Aries, Leo, Sagittarius.
Note here that as I shuffle these cards upright there was an opportunity for our two main cards to flip reversed but they are not which is such a positive message of Justice being done!
The reading is split into the following as separate messages:
Love
If you are dealing with an air sign and the situation has been stuck for a very long long looooong time, there may be a stronger message here for you. What has come through is that a situation with an over-thinker/Libra has been stuck where great strength has been needed in the conviction of your feelings.. you know how you feel about them and know they also have feelings for you! This other person has had to go through quite a journey of self-discovery, has felt trapped in their own feelings for you and felt stuck or perhaps you are the one who has felt stuck but communication is coming in.. fast! With the seven of swords underlying the energy.. it's going to be communication you don't see coming!.. this will be a stronger message if you are a fire sign and they are an air sign.
A lot of strength has been needed here.. the situation may have been stagnant for quite some time, years even from what I am feeling.. but there is change on the horizon!.. There will be balance brought to the situation either by this person stepping forward with communication that will make things, unspoken, right!
Perhaps it is you who have been waiting for a situation to unblock for you regarding a fire or air sign (take what resonates), you've felt trapped but there is communication.. a text msg perhaps coming in and you won't be expecting it!
Work/Court
In a career set-up you have gone through quite a transformation.. you may have gone to court regarding someone or a company but the King of wands tells me that you not only will come out victorious regarding a court case that perhaps you have been awaiting verdict on.. but that you will see balance being restored. I am still sending something not fully resolved to your liking.. with the win comes some sacrifice on your part.
For a career, you will find a job that will put you in your power, bring out the best qualities in you and fire up your passion for your job!
General
If you have been wondering what to do with your life, feeling a bit trapped and lost.. do not worry as there is divine balance at work here. The right people and job(s) will come into your life at just the right time and change things. The passionate King of swords is secure and authoritative so it may be there is someone in your life bringing that hope and peace for you.
All-in-all the messages are a positive, balanced, passionate outcome for you.
The main thing is that while life throws its curve balls.. learning to simply flow on the situations you have no control over and for the ones you are able to walk away from or are trying to find that resolution for yourself on it.. know that the answer here today is that Justice will be done and balance restored!
