No.88
For todays Ashram Monday's reading we have a double figure, 88. Lately I've been seeing many repeating numbers.. almost every single time I check my watch or mobile phone for the time. Something is aligning for me and if you have been seeing the same thing, then it is likely that things are aligning for you, too!
Todays cards for our reading has been influenced by the full moon in Aries which brings forth a need for action!.. but with us entering Libra season, and still facing the shadow side of Mercury retrograde (I hear it can last two weeks after retrograde which ended on the 3rd October.. so will fully end by the 23rd of October).. along with us still having about 5 other planets in retrograde, October may feel a bit of a heavy month for many in general. As if 2022 needed that extra kick.. October's astrology is set to be the most dramatic of 2022!

Generally what all the planetary actions signify, growth, as most retrograde seems to bring up the old and dance it about forefront of your mind and surroundings.
As always my readings are general, self-reflective and I do not use the books for them but have included them here for your own extra added message.
You may not feel any of this applies to you so take what resonates and throw away what doesn't. You may feel drawn to a previous Ashram Monday's reading and although I do these weekly, they are not time stamped. z when you see this is when you are supposed to see it.
For now, I wish you a wonderful week ahead!
Much Love and Light☀️

and interestingly enough Pluto's 5 month retrograde ended on the 8th Oct, our 88th Ashram Monday's, and I feel is reflective of our message for today.. this month is all about reflecting on our growth, this full moon on the 9th in aries during Libra season, together with Chiron and Venus the planet of love, brings up past hurts in relationships. How can you heal? What are you willing to let go of in order to move forward? On the 10th Mercury re-enters Libra bringing up all that you had to deal with in Mercury retrograde, on the 11th your energies may be compromised and on the 18th Venus and Mars love planets meet up bringing in self-love and, for some, romance or even rekindled feelings of emotions. Beware as before that on the 12th you may have had a few feelings simmering beneath the surface regarding a situation you have not been able to speak your mind on. Arguments and authority issues may surface before love starts coming in.
What does all this jibber jabber mean? Simply put, brace yourselves for an interesting week of inner growth, addressing issues regarding relationships and perhaps past patterns you need to address in yourself and past issues you need to work on so you can let go of what doesn't serve you anymore. In layman's terms.. an uncomfortable shitfest by the end of October but it needs to be resolved in order to clear the decks in your life for something fresh and new.. and most of that is within you and your own perspective and outlook on life.
Our first card, 2. Inner Trust, pretty much describes that inner doubt we have with situations in our lives. Trust in your internal guidance to lead the way and let you know whether this is something you need to address in yourself or whether others have imposed their baggage on you, making you question yourself. If it feels synchronistic, go with it!
Working on yourself this second week of October is important to understand what else you need to address before you are truly able to get your dream job, find a relationship, buy that car or house you've been saving up for. If you don't think these things are tied together, you may find yourself repeating self-doubt and negative cycles that prevent you from obtaining your dreams.
Which is where card 2, 11. Diving for Light, comes in.. an interesting concept as light is closer to the surface in water than it is if you were deep sea diving, where all lifeforms below have had to adapt to the impending darkness of life. It's an utterly beautiful card.. and the message to us all is to do the internal work, no matter how dark it may be, and find the light in that work. Transform your energy of self-criticism, self-doubt, self-worth and stop hiding your light under a bushel. A good friend explained to me once that analogy means for us to stop hiding our achievements, successes, our beauty inside and out from others.
If you are like me, you may have felt that being yourself caused problems, jealousy, envy, anger even, so you may have hidden most of who you are in order to please others. It's a past situation for me but I do cross-check I'm still not doing it today.
Look at the imagery on both cards.. from a cloak, simple, white, purity, truth to all singing and dancing, hair, makeup, jewellery and all the light and seahorses.. creatures that find mates for life. It is time to transition from your past situations and begin to shine your inner light for others to see it. We are all here to shine our light onto each other and raise each other up!
It's time to do the inner work for that growth!

These three cards on the moon work synchronistically with our main message of the day.. 17. Waning Gibbous. Self-reflection, mirrors Inner Trust and the work we must do. Water is heavily themed here and in Diving for Light and to me and all card readers this will be about emotions and feelings.. a journey within! The two figures stand on an open book signifying learning and knowledge.. the figures being identical makes me feel they also represent the two first cards.. one focusing on inner and the other taking action to work through that and reach for the light. Mirrors always show us who we are when symbolically included in cards.
4. Waxing Crescent 2. Acceptance is working on love, self love and love relationship issues that need to be resolved in order for you to move forward. If a relationship is not what you seek at the moment or are currently in one, focus in a deeper connection with yourself/your existing partner. There may be unresolved issues within that you need to address. The love heart shaped petals and doves fly freely in this card bringing in seasons and also liberating thoughts that have held you back in life and asking you to release these to make peace with yourself and others to move forward.
But nothing speaks of blockages more than, 25. Waning Crescent 2. Resistance, but if you observe this card, even though the hand is shut, not letting go that brings blockages.. life still carries on.. nature grows between the cracks of the fist, all different types of birds fly and bugs and greenery make their way around the closed hand. A transformation that may still take a few seasons to work through, 3-4 months will see this opening up naturally for growth and a better and more fulfilled life for yourself.
This card also tells me that, maybe for someone out there, you refuse to release certain situations or work on certain feelings in your life. This is the time in the planets to do it but if you are not ready to release anything then you are either not ready or not meant to now. Know that you are not alone and that the Universe has got your back!
For now, todays reading is all about trusting in your inner guidance to know what you need to address and when to do it. The opportunity for it could be now for you.. and if you find yourself rethinking and reevaluating things around you in your life.. make sure you are kind to yourself and know that tomorrow is a fresh brand new day, completely clean, untarnished and untainted by anything from the past as it is the future. Begin tomorrow afresh and as the new you in every moment and progress day-to-day, incrementally or fast, take it at your own pace, but as a new you!.. we have always room to improve ourselves, our careers, our happiness, our friendships and our love (self-love first and then love of others).
Love and Light☀️
