Merry Christmas or Festive Holiday, Happy Hannukah!.. and Happy Nee Year ahead! I hope that you have had a brilliant festive break, however you have spent it.. but equally so I understand that this may not be the best time of year, filled with sadness and loss. I am equally sending all the love to you, too, for those that relate.
Todays reading I wanted to focus on what we need to leave with from 2022.. and embrace for 2023! It is always at the cusp of a new year that we might feel a bit like shedding of old skin and embracing something new, new habits, hobbies and renewed hope for the year ahead.
In Brazil we enter the new year wearing all white.. from underpants to shoe laces.. symbolic of new, innocence, start, pure.. and we always put our right foot forward. My grandmother would have 12 grapes & for each gong of the clock, you eat a grape.. to my amusement 'Hampster' grandma was a yearly thing and, quite frankly, a tradition shared in all of Portugal to embrace the new year in a religious way, synchronistic to each month receiving a blessing for the year ahead!
What have you achieved this year?.. this is not measured by anyone but yourself.. have you conquered a personal achievement and gotten through tough times, have you had to close the door to an old habit, an old friend, made new ones? Have you changed jobs or moved house, bought a new car? Are you undergoing change as you read this right now, bereavement, end of a chapter you loved or cherished and entering a new phase that is part of life's innevitable flow of birth and departure.
However you have grown or has grown you this year, is changing you continuously, a fraction at a time.. know that the Universe has always blessings for you and you are never in your darkest hours without guidance and light to help you through it.

Today the message from 2022 is.. that it will be leaving us with some healing. Some of you may be feeling the burdens of solitary existence or confinement still, feeling lonely or alone or have lost a loved one.. for all this I am sorry.. this message for you is to say that you have, and always will have, generations of families behind you backing you up. That is to say, depending on your beliefs, that within you lies habits, dna, lineage from where you have come from!.. your genetic markup makes you truly unique to the world and forging ahead n the knowledge that you have come from so many lives is a feeling of honour and respect! What you bring with you are idioms, small mannerisms and the knowledge that many have come through tough times in your family tree.. and will continue to inspire you, now.
For others, the message is more of a spiritual slant, where, we never truly die only are in or out of a body through several lifetimes.. your loved ones are always with you, inspiring you to action and a positive outcome. Spirit never leave but being here on our planet, in our bodies, is the toughest part, going through illness, hardship, heartbreak.. our atonement for our past lives lived and played out to karma's magnanimous balance. The card above may be your past lives through ages until today. Do not feel alone as your guides and family are always, always with you and guide you to better times.
For a few, this message is about healing something of a long standing situation, repeat cycle.. something that you will have struggled with and it pops out in fallen relationships, self issues. Bad cycles are only called that when it holds you randsome unable to move forward, but keeps you stuck in the past, ever flowing into new situations and possibilities but forever keeping you away from achieving true, deep, happiness and experiencing true love. My belief is that, if we need to grow from a situation then it will repeat.. you only have to notice that it is the same thing in different situations. Pay attention! There may be something in your life that happens over and over again and it is always something we have to heal in ourselves.

Please be kind to yourself.. know that Spirit/your family/Universe/your Guides are all behind you. Take the time to think through any repetitiveness in your life and find the pattern. You are the common denominator!.. but also begin the work for the new year. You are a unique incredible soul.. your value, beyond this lifetime and one of the most precious in the world/planet/galaxy!.. look after yourself as such, value your time to process through any work you need to tackle but it's a brand new year!!! Fresh start. New renewed hope for change.
2023
Well 2023 looks like the Disney castle! Lilac or purple as I'm reading this, is the chakra colour of your third eye.. the chakara that governs your intuition and connection to the Universe/Spirit! The road is clear.. go ahead with your dreams!
2023 is asking you to look forward to your dream.. walking the path, not appearing within the castle or floating, but the work leads you to your dreams. This is the year to dream big again.
As children we did n it have any barriers to our imagination.. but it's natural for us to lose some of that for the grime of everyday living, earning a living, caring for others.. this card comes to you today to let you know to remember how to dream, remember how to be open to new ideas, inspiration from the Universe/Spirit, how to follow your unique natural flow and gravitate towards your impending happiness and fulfilment in life.
Ofcourse life is not without burdens and trials.. but this card asks you to see past that and just know that being open to what life has to bring, the good, bad, ugly, will lead you to your greatest happiness!
For now, my spiritual family, have yourself a wonderful rest of 2022.. the days are numbered and set for hopefully a great passing of the year.
