Todays reading is sounding very much like a self-reading.. and if you have been experiencing all shades of mischief from the Universe; emails not sending, parcel machines glitching and you're unable to send it, parking fines, things breaking left right and centre around the house, miscommunication, misunderstandings but mostly pure mischief from the elements.. then you are not alone. This retrograde has hit me like a tonne of bricks and if you are sensitive you may be feeling it quite acutely, and if not you may be wondering where all the haphazard luck is coming from.. make no mistake come 3rd October we may have sailed through most of this and as always retrograde brings a gift at the end of it.. what will it be for you? Happiness? New circumstances/relationship/job/vocation?.. keep positive.. the tides are changing for the better!

Todays card is Willpower

Whenever I think of Willpower, I think of little me, obstinate and resolute even at the age of 4. As if I had already been equipped, same as every child wanting treats, with the drive to get to what we want! It is no bad thing. We sometimes forget this about ourselves as children and it is something that the universe is saying you should bring back.

Breaking it down, the power of your willingness to change, progress, adapt and grow is what is challenged here esp for this month.. but what is it you are trying to achieve? Is this stagnation making you feel restless? Stressed? Sometimes starting with a list, one chore, one step forward is all the beginning you need.

I always find myself at the point where I'm stuck where it comes to housework or DIY.. it's something I hate doing and so my willpower is at its lowest ebb and I'm often paralysed by the magnitude of ALL the projects at once, everything I have to do to finalise it all which creates stress as I can't find a way to start or get moving on this. Drives me crazy!! So in this sense, the lack of will to do something you really don't want to do adds stress because it seems daunting.

The feel for this week is progress for you.. use the positive message of this Sufi Wisdom card to guide you forward with more gumption and see where it takes you towards the end of the week!

After all, the title of this card is Will 'Power'.. and with that, know that there is nothing you cannot achieve as long as you put your heart, head and action towards it! You have the absolute power to change your circumstances.. do not wait and begging the changes you need for your happiness today and feel stress and stagnation drift away.

I almost feel like there is nothing more to say here.. except that I had taken a card out for a friend who was on the phone while I was shuffling.. and this card appeared at the bottom of the deck for him, too! I carried on shuffling.. and I mean really really well shuffled.. and here it is again, at the bottom of the deck!

We are most certainly living through a powerfully creative time. It is affecting us all in one way or another and our will power is being challenged to step up a notch and get things done! The law of attraction where like attracts like is most certainly magnetised here and t goes without saying that how you feel is what attracts the 'like'.. our emotions are what synchronises with what you receive so beware of what you have been focusing on and keep turning your attention to what IS working and generating happiness in your life!

This card's imagery looks to have a spot light on the 'egg of creation' being carried by the person. Know that what you serve out to the Universe: be it will power, happiness, strength, change.. is in your hands to make happen. Literally in this picture.

You have everything you need to make some change in your life.. for the better.
