No.82

Today on Ashram Monday’s reading, no.82.. adds to 10, is all about endings and new beginnings, finality and fruition.

I was only drawn to one main message today and interestingly enough it’s a card I’ve not long pulled out for Ashram Monday’s.. it’s fallen out again. So if you remember that and see this as an omen, there may well be a message here for you.

I never use the book readings but add them in as an extra dimension to the reading for you if you are drawn to reading the description. Interestingly enough for todays reading I feel the book really will resonate with the book description and it’s not something I’ve felt compelled to say.. so do read that as well.

For now, just a wee setting if the scene.. we are just in a new moon, all about putting out all your good intentions for the full moon to bring fulfilment.. but also, Mercury is about to be in retrograde on the 10th Sept this year 2022; it’s a time associated with communication & technology breakdowns, lost items (microwave, electric saw and lawn mower all gave up the ghost on me within two weeks and I am dreading to touch anything else as it stands!).. What this generally means is that it isn’t the best time to start up that long needed deep chat or clear the air as it’s likely going to go awry but with the emotions of Virgo season we’re currently in, it leads to some emotional times, perhaps reminiscing on past situations that we have not resolved yet and yearn for answers from.

Things will be felt even now, I certainly can, so brace yourselves. When Mercury the messenger planet appears to be moving backwards, this means a breakdown in messages, intentions, misinterpretations.

Mercury moves direct on the 18th Oct.. so we have a relatively long period of time in some muddy waters before things clear up.. and after this there is one more retrograde at the end of this year before we welcome 2023 in!

If you felt compelled to todays reading, then you may well be someone who is playing it safe with your emotions. You’ve been hurt before and so being in that vulnerable situation again makes your palm sweat.. but releasing to love is truly all about freeing love for you to be able to love yourself.

For those that resonate, I feel that the feeling i’m the card is that of self-protection.. whether from new love, perhaps someone you have freed before like an ex.. but when you do this you usually cut off the supply to yourself too. It is the case where you cannot have one without the other, at least not in a healthy way. So pay attention as this card is telling you to take a chance of opening your heart up.

If there was a toxic person in your life use your discernment here I do not condone abuse in any relationship.

The encouragement I am sending over to you and that is emanating from this card is that positive things/people/situations will come to you when you open your heart. This does not mean open it to a relationship if you don’t want one. It simply means set yourself free of your binds, free of any sadness and pain from your past. You can only truly open your heart once you’ve released the past.. and this card is telling you to be daring! Look at how the figure dances, teetering on the edge of what almost looks like a small helicopter landing zone.. we can’t tell whether the small rubble of land precariously floating in the sky is stationery or not, whether the figure will fall or not.. but they certainly are releasing love symbolically added with all the paper hearts floating off. Are they being delivered? Directed at someone in particular?

There is certainly an edge of danger in this card’s depiction where a blind leap of faith is needed to bridge the next chapter of your life.

Just remember.. Protecting yourself from love is cutting off it’s air supply to even yourself. I learnt that the hard way but am slowly working to open myself back up again. There’s been a few more important bumps on the road to address.. but now I truly have no excuse than to love.. and the first person that should be directed to, is myself.

If you have been going through transformations in your life that have changed how you feel about yourself.. this card is telling you to trust in your own beauty, know that you are absolutely perfect exactly as you are and that you are in exactly the right place and time in order to truly bring action and change into your life. Just remember that life is a wave and soon you’ll be rising up and feeling much more positive about yourself.

But if you find yourself reminiscing on the past.. go with the flow, try to resolve it for yourself to bring peace to yourself.. then the rest will fall into place.

Everything starts from self-love.. but there is an added message to this card..

Clarifier Card

It is interesting that the white-clad figure from the previous card perched on the land.. turns into a stork in this clarifier.. the red hearts mostly inside the bottle or transformed into a red star.. land into a glass bottle with an old fashioned telephone inside it.

Also interesting that Mercury retrograde is coming up.. the messenger planet!.. and to me it means simply that someone has been looking for a way to contact you.. message in a bottle, telephone.. someone needs to talk to you.. I can feel the yearning.

It is as if someone has taken a leap of faith with their feelings or are about to.. and are ready to contact you. The message will be received in September!.. by the 15th..

For some of you it is something you have been waiting for.. for others it is someone brand new but either way the stork means new; situation or person! All you have to be is in the receiving end of this.

Focus on opening your heart and softening the past tribulations and welcome in love into your life!
