No. 48

Our last Ashram Monday’s for 2021.. Seems unimaginable that an entire year has passed at this point.. for me, at least, without my noticing it. The need to make 2022 something of a good year had become something of a challenge rather than hopeful lately but I do hope we can, as a mass, elevate our positive energies to, regardless of the restrictions going on in our lives, still manage to bring in beautiful and necessary changes.

Today, after over a year of Human Kintsugi and posting some of my personal philosophies and self-help techniques I use on myself, I thought I’d share with a reader and follower a FREE card reading tailored for you. I stayed at a friends house yesterday.. and so I asked Becky (or Bboo as I call her) to pick out card of the day. After shuffling and spreading out the cards in a row.. this one called to her. Interestingly enough we were just discussing last night about love and what a curious and synchronistic card to be out!

Once again, I do not read the book meaning but feel free to read that as it may resonate with you more than my perception of this card. As it’s a reading for the masses, or as many of my readers that stop by, it may not resonate now with anyone but it may even be something that has recently happened or will resonate with you in future.

EROS

LXXI (Roman Numeral no. 71)

Todays card has my heart chakra doing flips but we have two meanings from this card that is about moving forward into 2022 in the ‘correct’ way.. or a way at least that reminds us to remain open.. to love, to your authentic self.

I was compelled to look up the name on the card Eros feeling a Greek God connection immediately and what I found made sense why I felt the above before checking google..

EROS was the mischievous god of love, a minion and constant companion of the goddess Aphrodite. ... It was he who lit the flame of love in the hearts of the gods and men, armed with either a bow and arrows or a flaming torch. Today’s cards meaning in Love:

The one thing we have all been struggling with in one form of it or another.. but love is the key to opening up your 2022. If you have been compelled to this reading.. there is a good chance that you, and I, have a lot in common. Shut down to love. Protection. Hurt in the past. Fear. Or maybe you just plain don’t want to share your own time or compromise in any way on what you want to do anymore. Whatever the case.. this card is telling you to keep a small crack of your heart open. The imagery are lips with a diamond and I feel this is being swallowed, symbolically, of bringing love inside.

Soften that side of you.. easily said than done, but this card is saying for you to not completely close down. There is more to life than amorous relationships and love is something to be shared with family and friends. It’s to be shared with neighbours or animals alike.. shown with kindness and charity.

I have recently added myself onto Bumble, the dating app. I am not entirely sure what I’m doing there but I do know this closed side of me cannot remain so tightly shut. This is my way of putting myself out there, feelers out and seeing what opening that door may bring. It is not what I am suggesting you do but for whatever reason you need to open your heart to let love in, or out, this card is telling you that it is important for you to do so.

Today’s card meaning in Communication:

My first impression of this card turns out to be about words, communication.. something you need to say or haven’t said. It is also about it standing in your true authentic self to be able to get your point across and bring harmony into difficult situations.

If you’re reading this snd find yourself in this situation or perhaps someone has some wisdom to impart to you.. listen.. speak.. shine your true light.

Just know that however this resonates to you.. openness is the key to your year ahead. Open heart. Open discussions. Bringing truth into your life.
