Today we have a pick-a-card reading.. felt like three separate stories going on and I was compelled to use a deck that is absolutely beautiful but I haven’t connected with. That has changed today.

Can I just say that each of these cards individually add up the sum of their double numbers.. to the number 9! All three cards. Nines in numerology:

I was called to check the number of our Ashram Monday’s post. 46.. is a 10 which related to all out cards and for each message that there is a completion, an ending and a new beginning as 10 adds down to a 1. It is a great number when it comes to us all today in the world‘s state of affairs.. but it also relevant to each message. Keep this in mind.

Skunk Spirit - 54

Know your worth

What a powerful message for you today.. because if you chose this card then I’ve been guided to tell you that your self worth has been put through the mills recently.. because of someone else.

The Universe does not take sides and quite frankly your worth has always been of a unique beautiful rare pearl. You may have, however, lost sight of that amidst what other(s) tell you.

The card depiction to me: Skunks are beautiful creatures.. and this one has several of its hairs standing on end. They feel in fighting position, ready to attack.. even the flower it sits on has been ruffled and the petals have dropped and curled under itself. Don’t ask me why but I see almost an eye and face on its tail that is the opposite of fight.. it is one of sadness. Not sure if you can see the sad eye in the tail.

It is time to do some self-soothing and self-nurturing.. and if you are already on the road to recovery, slowly, then empower yourself and get your scent glands ready and spray some stink towards predators ways!.. they do not deserve you or you them. Find your soul tribe that love you and accept you as you are no matter what time of day it is or season it is. We are all made perfectly imperfect. Even those that have made you doubt this.. they may have further to go in their develomoment and growth or perhaps things just plain didn’t work out together.

The message for you going forward is to work on yourself, treat yourself to something new, have a hot salt bath to get rid of negativity, surround yourself by love but also pay attention to what you felt you might have given in to that perhaps you will not want to perpetuate in a relationship or friendship again. Knowing your worth is knowing your boundaries of what you are willing to and not willing to accept. It is one of our most important journeys as individuals.

If you aren’t feeling sadness still.. don’t worry.. the skunk spirit is here to tell you that it will fight on your behalf so power on, love yourself in a wholesome way embracing your faults and see where this will lead you.

Not allowing others to mistreat you in any way can be a bit stressful and scary but I feel you will find the right words at the right time. By Summer next year things will have improved so use this time wisely to process and understand yourself but also to love yourself wholesomely.

Remember.. skunks are incredibly agile at climbing to the craziest places (rooftop in my farm in Brazil) and have sharp enough nails and teeth.. it’s worth showing them sometimes to others but also perhaps it shows how hard you can fight for yourself too!

Other than the number 9, for this reading I interpret as selflessness, the 10 is a death of that way of thinking and starting afresh with a nee way of seeing things in your life! Embrace it all!

Vulture Spirit - 63

Nothing is wasted - reversed

This card is the only of the three that has fallen reversed and despite their reputation mainly portrayed in Disney as sly untrustworthy creatures.. the vulture in dreams represent your past but as animals it is an incredibly efficient bird with over 27 living species across the globe. The vulture scavenges on carcasses with its large wingspan and incredibly sharp curved beak it’s an animal made to travel far and is able to survive the harshest weathers. Vultures have a strong sense of smell, a trait not as dominant in other bird species, so as to find its next meal.

There is something in this message for those who have either left a situation or their past behind or have been overindulgent at present (wasteful) as this card is reversed.

The depiction: a regally crowned bird with red head/feet and a plentiful feathered collar and smooth wings.

To be honest I get a cavalier approach to life, not wanting anything serious or anything that would tie you down. Absolutely nothing wrong with this.. but the vulture warns of missing out on something wonderful ahead of you.

Do not close your eyes to the opportunity of happiness if it arrives at perhaps a junction in your life that feels most blase, least grounded. They may just show you how to fly again.

The message here could be for the shopaholics out there (🙋🏻‍♀️ me) who may be wasteful in their approach to material gain or perhaps to living life on a surface level. By this I mean nothing emotional, no ties, nothing deep.. just happy, cheerful, no strings attached. I feel this message is a warning to beware where that path might lead you. We each must find our happiness in whatever way suits us but the card may be saying to you that perhaps it’s time to reign it in a little and refocus on the more meaningful things in life. If you celebrate Christmas you may find this is the turning point that will ground you.

You may embody the perseverance of the vulture normally but perhaps something by has happened with someone from your past that may have left you feeling defeated of late. Do not worry.. you’ll soon get the wind back in your sails for now though just focus on yourself snd feeling the best you that you can.

The messages are vast for the vulture.. nothing is wasted reversed would be everything is wasted.. this may have been a long journey you’ve been on that has finally come to a close or you feel has. Just know that there are reasons why everything falls where it does in your lifetime. If separated from a loved one it will imminently work out for the best in the long term. The universe always has your back.. when something isn’t right you end up being bumped off your path to follow a brand new one! Take the hint!.. it’s a good one!

Strong one lovely thing and gratitude after another and it will make you feel more fulfilled and back to your self power.

The Vulture spirit was seen as the manifestation of two goddesses of both upper and lower Egypt.. depicted on the ceilings of temples for protection or on the ground as meaning of kingship! You are protected throughout this as flighty as you may feel right now.

Fox Spirit - 27

Think on your feet

If you’ve chosen this card, whether you find yourself in a conundrum at work, with people or family, the solution is already within you and some quick thinking on your part.

The card depiction: a beautiful, red, fluffy, clever-looking fox stand with feathers which to me have symbolism to spirit but here to Native American Indians. Foxes are spiritually symbolic of shape shifting being so agile and nimble.

Foxes rely mostly on its wit, it’s heightened hunter instincts to catch prey that are extremely fast on their feet!. Images of a snow fox just entered my head when it jumps in the air and down with great force in order to dig deep down to catch prey that has escaped under the snow.

I feel there is something in your life that may require some quick thinking on your part to resolve a situation that has been challenging. Quick thinking and wisdom only go hand-in-hand when you’ve truly understood how to access your true intuitive core. The answer is always within.. and it bypasses ego.

Our ego’s have created and continue to do the most damage in our lives. Whether it’s our egos or those of others.

Assess the situation around you, see past the anger and malice that others seem to bring and understand that it is their ego’s that create the setting you now are involved in. Thinking on your feet is not to retaliate with ego.. in this case it is to find the greater wisdom quick… For me, the times I am unable to detach from situations in my life, well, those are the times I am silent. I prefer to say nothing than to say something that may make a situation worse or may cause it irreversible damage. I’m a fire sign.. the fire is always there.

This card is telling you today that you either need to embody this energy or that the Fox Spirit is there to protect you in its own clever way to help bring resolutions in your life. You’ll know the right time to use this.. listen to your internal wisdom for it.
