This weeks Ashram Monday is running a tad late with a few things happening lately.. mostly my kitten breaking things around the house though mostly on the only window ledge he’s not allowed on.

We have just come out of a full super blood moon! The most powerful one to end our year with a bang and some transformative change.

I hope that you have set forth your intentions for this next month.. and if not, say to yourself, ‘I am ready to let in the magic’… watch this space for some changes ahead!

Without any further delay.. following is our card of the day. Thought I’d use the Moon of the Oracle deck for the obvious moon inferred reason however.. Angels must have been calling!

Discernment

This one is a minefield of a card as we are born with that instinct to do good by us for our survival and while we are maturing it’s certainly something we cultivate and get wrong sometimes.. but it takes us years to use it well.. and even now, I’m still learning.

The angels are very much asking you to find your answers within.

We all rely on that one best friend or family member we have to help us make good choices in life.. I find that for some of the greater things in life it is a must! We always benefit from the wisdom and discernment of others. However, learning to trust in our own gut feelings and going by, just that, to make the right choices for ourselves.. seems a most daunting task for most!

Why? Because most people start that way and forget that there is a much greater source to rely on within themselves!

The truth is we already have the answer within us. Fair enough some situations require talking through, I know I’ve been there several times, but a lot of the times we already know the answer that is right for us!

Todays card is here to tell you to follow your own discernment snd if you are finding it hard to access.. then you need to meditate or sit quietly for a bit and think about the situation further to truly listen to the answer that comes from within you.

Cultivate getting to know yourself better. Easier said than done.. but it’s never too late to start.

Perhaps today you find yourself in a conundrum and in need of guidance. Be still. Take three deep breaths.

Now imagine how you feel making one decision, you get up from your meditation, you write your letter/make your call/take action required.. you see yourself receiving a reply or response that’s appropriate back.. how do you feel? Does this make you feel right?

Now try the other solution.. do the same thing.. Now another solution.. same thing. When it comes to choices I usually imagine walking in the steps of each choice and outcome and turning down the rest. It helps.

You may find yourself having to take action on one thing only and it’s a difficult decision to make. Some choices we have are limited snd come with constraints but I know you have your answer inside.

You only need to listen.

Hope today’s card delivers a confirmation that you are on the right path to your own self-fulfilled enlightenment. There is nothing better and you absolutely have got this!
