Queen of the Moon Oracle Deck by Stacey Demarco

I am sending the warmest good morning to anyone reading this post. We are here again for another Ashram Monday reading and today‘s deck is the Queen of the Moon Oracle deck. With a recent new moon and said to be a time to put forth your best intentions for the weeks ahead before the full moon manifestation.

The number 8 seems to be an important number for both these cards snd Ashram Monday’s number 38 too!.. but they do feel like a progression from one to the other so if you feel compelled to read both cards do.. your first choice first, though then read the other card. 8’s are about doing the work funnily enough as this ties in to retrograde season I talk about next. It is a number about putting the hard work snd building better foundations across the board in your life from relationships to your inner self (mostly your inner self). Also you may have been seeing the number 8 a lot recently.

We are currently in Mercury retrograde as well.. for those who wonder what that means when a planet does that.. it means that rather than going from East to West as it normally charters, it appears to be moving in the opposite direction. On a non-scientific level, retrograde is about putting old habits to bed, end old cycles, revisiting old relationships and indeed the return of an ex perhaps to rekindle or to simply put a final full stop on that connection. It is a time to fluff up the old in order to bring in the new.

8. The Path

If you’ve chosen this card then I feel that you have been dreaming of perhaps a different future for yourself. The grass is always greener came to mind as the circular ‘portal’ has a grassy foreground but the skies are dark and gloomy albeit sunny and blue skies above. The rickety ladder leading to this other life seems to be unstable to say the least!.. but there is the feeling that the girl depicted has either just arrived from there or wishes to leave.

Our wish for change, especially in the current global situation snd how it affects your life personally is already a prime contributor however we all wish and dream of better times ahead. Know that this card advises that the stars are aligning (the brighter ones the figure looks out to in the mountain scape), the full moon is on its way and so are manifestations of all your hard work and dreams but mostly about your intentions and how you’ve put them into motion within you.. with positive intent and energy or with fear of it never being realised. Either would come true in opposite direction.

The portal to me initially looked like it was in the sky like a dream connection but it then turned into a well like a wishing well where the figure could be in the bottom of it looking up at the way out or the other way round, in gravity defying stance the figure is outside and could decide to climb down to newer pasteurs. Is the transition you seek from dream to reality or from one place to another? What steps do you need to take in order to make the transition? The path is clear for you to create your new reality.. this card is an important omen to build on each step that leads to your fulfilment.. set plans into action!

I feel this card is also about being appreciative of what we already have. Look around your surroundings and enjoy! If you haven’t stopped to smell the flowers or look up at the night sky, then do! We are reminded that our guidance comes from within and that we need time to be still for us to truly be able to guide ourselves to a better place.

All in all this card feels much about dreams coming true, focus on the journey and manifestations ahead. It is time to make a move and know that the universe has your back. Look out for synchronicities to reassure you that you’re on the right path but ultimately, the path that leads to happiness is the one you are always in now.

Waning Gibbous 2

18. Pleasure

Well! What can I say about this card that doesn’t already emanate a feeling of metamorphosis, passion, sexuality and just rocking your divine self!

It is a card of liberation in every way and ultimate transformations we go through when we move into self fulfilment and pleasure.

Butterflies are always shown when we undergo massive transformations but in this particular reference it is signifying a time to throw caution to the wind, let your hair down and seek what brings you pleasure in life. That may take many forms such as work or career, a new relationship or an existing one becomes steamy, travel and connection to self or the world.. it is a personal journey, which again, does not surprise me with retrograde season.

If you have been working hard or perhaps in a situation that has felt stuck in many ways, this card advises that you will change, and therefore, the situation will evolve. Enjoy your journey after all this card is titled pleasure.. be the pleasure seeker now.
