Your card of the week is one that at some point or other in our lives we have felt the lack of.

Confidence is not just about getting my red dress on.. I wear the clothes at the end of the day. It is about how I feel about myself and in turn that boosts confidence in all areas of my life.

Feel good, then look good, be positive and shine your unique light on others around you to allow them to do the same back.

A friend recently has come out as non-binary. This person never lacked confidence in my eyes but they felt, until now, that they would not be able to be honest with those around them including family members. Their instagram account journaled their story and I could not be more proud of them.. enjoy_invisibility for anyone interested.

You see confidence, to me, is not just about feeling small but doing it anyways.. that’s about courage. Confidence is about being your authentic self and honouring that and not only has my friend done that.. they’ve also allowed others to be free to do the same.

Such as in their case, we also must honour who we are today. It is the journey that counts but it is also the ‘you‘ in each part of that journey that has evolved, grown and changed, honouring each facet of what makes you unique that bares some truly inspiring accounts.

Confidence is not just a feeling it is a ‘you’.

Celebrate your person today! Perhaps this Ashram Monday is meant to be just that.. a celebration of you!

Whether this card is a reminder to boost your confidence for a particular situation in your life or just a general ‘yeehaa!’ to tell you to keep it coming.. the universe is waving a green light!
