No.33

Today my kitten decided to try a couple of jump ups onto tables ending one with all the cinders from my accumulated incense pile all over the floor and one of my handmade potteries created over 15years ago in a pottery class.. broken in three with an aloe vera plant looking not much happier. It is also my fathers birthday, he would have been 78 today! An ‘interesting’ start to my day but.. getting the hand hoover out for the waste, calling my mum snd brother and lighting a candle for my father with a meditation.. it’s time to perhaps put my Human Kintsugi artistry into practice. Photos will be posted sadly I have no before snd after that look composed so you’ll just have to imagine what it looked like before kintsugi.

Other than this rather scrambled and emotional morning.. I performed at a Bhangra event on Saturday eventually ending with a Bhangra disco.. a mix of pop music with a bhangra beat.. if you haven’t heard Ed Sheran’s ‘The shape of you’ with a Bhangra beat.. have you even lived? I’ve also managed to write 24 of my own songs and counting.. and after watching ‘Driving Aphrodite’ about a tour operator trying to find her ‘kefi’ her mojo in greek! Nia Vardalos is as funny as she is in My Big Fat Greek Wedding. I’m also trying to find what clothes suit me and the new me after sickness.. more importantly getting rid of the old stuff, the old me, I used to be before it. It’s been exactly as the last few posts on Ashram Monday’s about cleansing for me snd finding my true happiness in who I am, what I wear, who I see and what I do!

So why am I telling you all this BEFORE the reading today? It has everything to do with both cards and I’ll reference this here.

Card 1

27. Joy

Of you chose this card today.. you are in for a treat if you’re not already feeling it. The number 27 adds down to 9 which is a number of being divinely guided, wish fulfilment, happiness but on its slightly negative side can be a number of absolute stress and nightmares. I feel the depiction is telling you here that all that has gone awry in your life is turning around and clearing up.. you are finally receiving some joy. Just the image with the Star of David in the centre made up of two equilateral triangles with a heart in the middle alight.. sections of embroidered drawings are highlighted from the star almost as if these were closed like a peacocks feathers but now open revealing the true brilliance, happiness of true abundance and love!

It is a card that when I picked it up my fingers tingled with the excited energy of pure exhilaration from the feeling of joy.. and it burst my heart chakara wide open.. also the smaller star above the heart chakara to me is the throat so it is about being true to your heart and speaking your authentic truth.

If you have been going through tough times this card encourages you to open your heart and find that unique joy you have inside you and let it out.. speak your truth, put things to bed and let what does not serve you go. Now is the time to embrace all that you are and bring so much joy into your life!

If you have started your journey, like me, finding my truth snd seeking my joy then you are feeling wide open, beating heart to the world unintentionally shinning on everyone as you only seek what’s right for you, for your life, career, love, hobbies, hair.. clothes. Seek out but know that this sacred feeling is always there for you. Keep going and keep striving to find and feel it.

The universe bestows wonders to us.. always when we are low we have something that happens or is there in our lives that pulls us through and that may very well be the universe!.. but it requires laying yourself bare and open.. feeling vulnerable by shouting out your unique fingerprint on your life. You and only you may live your life and what better way than living it in a way that sparks joy!

This is a very good week! I truly hope that you are feeling this and I know that the book for these cards includes a meditation to being in joy!.. I hope it also helps you if you are going through troubled times and remember you are a mere shift in your feelings away to changing your hour for the best.. your day.. your week then year for the best.. so milk it! Keep the good juju flowing and let like attract like!

Card 2

39.Variance

If you have chosen this card today, you are either needing to find or have found your true alignment or peace. At the moment every planet is practically in retrograde and although it is a background energy in our lives it can influence the smallest thing which law of attraction can magnify happily for you by bringing you exactly what you are putting out.. even if just a little. But this card has the number 39, in other words, 12 or a 3. 3’s are all about building foundations, celebrations snd friendships, collaborations, empowerment and fulfilment but on its negative attribute it can also signify waiting for better times or incredibly deep painful heartache.

Whatever you have been through you are being aligned by the universe for your highest calling.. that of happiness. The depiction on the card of a soul meditating (not gender specific) is above the clouds where the sun always lives, aligning with the universe! There are dotted points marking where you’ve been and where you’re going left to right.. and your elevation up. The heart at the top os your heart being asked to be raised, ofcourse not literally, but to higher love and vibrations!

The inside of the soul are all the chakaras aligning with you.. the colours all about your heart, throat and third eye.. these are all about intuition, love and speaking your truth.. something Card no.1 speaks of too. Perhaps there’s a message there for you too!

The universe has your back.. if you are going through stressful times then meditate or take some time out to rebalance yourself and your energies. Your angels depicted here always guide you to your greater good. If you aren’t someone who believes in them then you may feel that the universe and the stars you are part of works on a greater balance than mankind can fathom. The wings would be you.. taking flight when you find peace and bring in balance into your life.

Variance is a word of oddities, being variable.. and I feel life does just that. Our emotions and our thoughts are in a constant variable flux and at times can be toppled over with excess stress within any area we’ve built or that have been built around us. Good and bad.

I truly hope that you have already journeyed past your troubles snd find yourself acclimatised to the changes in your life. I have also had to do the same many many times leading to a whole new journey of self discovery & self acceptance. But finding what sparks joy and being still and quiet when things have gone wrong.. this card says you are on route to finding happiness and peace.

As for me.. I usually search for what causes me happiness and steers me away from sadness all together if I can. My focus is forced upon the good to get me through the turbulence but if this was a flight.. I’d happily get me seatbelt on and await for the excitement of the beautiful new that comes when we finally are in sync with the world.
