I tend to light up incense before a reading.. sometimes I feel it’s needed to clear the room snd the cards if alive used them for other readings. Today, however, my lighter lit the incense stick for a bit but not enough to catch on.. it then took several attempts with no flame from the lighter no matter how many times I tried to get the lighter fluid into the right chamber for it.. I gave up and had to move onto a box of matches to finally get this going. A boring little story but the significance of this.. as I always believe nothing is a coincidence, it felt like the msg even before clearing the cards and picking one for today was for us to get back to basics, to put in the hard work and start from the ground up. That sometimes to create fire in our situations in life, much like actual fire, all we need is the right ingredients and an initial spark!

Truth be Told

So today’s message intuitively speaking ties in with this tireless conundrum with the fire. The flame of truth very much like an Olympic Torch that carries its flame lit accross the world before finding its home for the event.. but in this meaning it is the fires of justice, always lit, always true.

The image holds so much symbolism. Let’s start with the numerology. 14, breaks down to a 5, the lucky number for some but it is a number that is all about doing the work, discussions in order to achieve resolution when there has been confusion or lack of enlightenment in a situation. It can be a number about endings and beginnings and feeling the loss of an old chapter in our lives.. basically 5’s to me are about doing the work to get to 6, the number of balance, soulmates & harmony. 4’s are all about being held back, rest needed to recalibrate your energies so leaving that energy to finally battle out out inner issues to get to harmony is always a plus. All tarot cards work linearly as a story.. with oracle cards they are less structured like this and more as guidance but I always use the tarot‘s numerical meanings and apply them here and to any numerological situation in life.

The depiction.. Owls are said to be very auspicious when seen or dreamt about.. it was linked to Athena and used on Greek coins so is always a symbol of wealth but in more modern context it has the added meaning of justice, truth and wisdom. The skies surrounding the owl and slightly yellow and discoloured where the open window inside it holds blue skies. Not clear skies.. as often the truth is a matter of perspective, of leverage sometimes and so it is one angle of truth, your truth.

The owl stands on a mask and as this clearly speaks of transparency and speaking your truth from the heart with all the hearts flying out from here.. if there is something you have been meaning to say to unblock your current circumstances.. now is the time!

We have just come out of the Strawberry Full Moon recently tainted by the solar eclipse, so if you already haven’t set your intentions of what you desire for your future, then now is the right time to do so. If you find yourself stuck in a situation, this card advises you to open up your heart & be your truth and it will set you free.

It feels like the bunting going across the window is the owls feathers but that with the hearts floating into the sky surrounding them makes it a celebration of truth!

You may need to speak your truth to someone.. perhaps you have been waiting to do that for a very long time and this has in fact kept you in a sort of life limbo, unable to be free from burdens.. now is your time to do it.

This card signals everything that is about owning and being your truth.. and when you speak it from your heart then you are never wrong.

I just picked up a feeling of liberty as well so for some of you it is about being set free.. free from burdens as stated above but also perhaps to be finally open to circumstances in life you have been afraid of going through. Listen to your true inner self and it will always steer you right.
