Today, brought to you on Ashram Monday’s is a card from my heart! The card of Playfulness.
I had a picture of this deck in my head even before I woke up this morning so I’m guessing dreaming about this and getting this card is the universe’s version of communication but certainly saying that this message is perfect for today!
Along with our current energy in Scorpio’s Super Moon which I spoke about in some depth in my last post, the energy of putting issues to bed as such, this card comes in to help smooth that transition. In the middle of a pandemic and the emotional times we are experiencing at the moment (again, due to the great influence of the super moon) finding put inner child and viewing the world through those wonderous eyes we had a few years ago is a way to soften our transition.

Playfulness: I am a playful participant in life, and I always have the option to make something a fun game rather than a heavy burden
This quote isn’t meant to be light about issues that have come up necessarily but it is of the slog, the relentless marathon we usually find ourselves in; job, relationships, health.. and though the Scorpio Super Moon may be finding a way to bring up a lot of those issues to a head deliberately so you can air them out!.. we all need to come up for air sometimes otherwise you might be finding yourself drowning in it all. Don’t.
Turn your attention to something else in life that could be seen as playful and fun. Within a week I’ve been in contact with several horses one of my favourites was called Elder and Fizz, yesterday a parrot called Barry sat on my shoulder and later on I held a bearded dragon called Bacchus on my chest for a while, warm as the sun. There’s been a lot of things coming up for me to clear out recently and most of the time I’ve just felt a surge of emotions for no reason at all.. such is the power of cleansing.. but I did chuckle and think I’ve become Evan Almighty, where I might open my arms and all the birds and animals might just perch on me.
Getting out and actively bringing playfulness into your life is a must! ESPECIALLY when everything you are going through has been a heavy burden. How many times have you had one of those days where you walked into a puddle and just had to laugh and wonder if you should match the other leg, or grab someone elses coffee too late to return and wonder how sneaky the universe is trying to get you to drink more milk, how the crick in the neck you woke up with actually helps you ‘see’ the world from a different angle? You just have to laugh sometimes.. not to cry perhaps.. but all these things happen all the time and the best way to turn them around is to lighten them and make a silly comment about them out loud of one your head. Life is full of heavy burdens as it is without us making something small into one as well. And as we lighten up, we bring in a different energy, positivity in humour and law of attraction begins to align better times to match your energy.
Mary Poppins says a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine ‘go down.. in the most delightful way’. No one likes to take medicine but that dash of fun might mean you take that in a better stance of mind to see past the mishaps in life and make life a little lighter in your everyday.
So! What have you got to lose? If anything happens to you this week, maybe you’re having one of those days, say something humorous out loud about it and chuckle to yourself or with family and friends. Life is too short to make heavy by the little things so make them ‘playful’.
Have a beautiful week!
Love and Light☀️
P.S I had to add this here because I published this post at 9am.. and only just realised it had not published at all and say merrily in drafts.. and the playfulness continues… so that the timing is right!! Happy Monday!!
I really look forward to your posts and yet again it is so relevant. As I'm reading this I'm out walking my dogs in the middle of nowhere and my youngest dog, Lucy, has just run past me with a pair of tights in her mouth! Thank you universe (and you!) for reminding me to find some light on an otherwise heavy day! Xxx
