Ashram Monday’s : 104

No.104

For today's reading, believe it or not I dreamt of this deck of cards. It's the only one I have that is bright red even if I didn't see the image of the front I saw the image of another card, one of the first ones I pulled from this deck when I got it. I always trust that what I'm shown connects to what I, intuitively, feel is right for this weeks message.

Apologies for the late post I was at a music festival called 'Beat the Streets' which aims to help the homeless in various cities around the UK, for me, in Nottingham. Check them out if you aren't aware of them :) I got back home rather late and needed a few extra winks for todays Ashram freshness!

This message is as much for me as it can be for you but as always please take what resonates and throw away what doesn't. These readings are only meant to bring consciousness to your actions and perhaps highlight those of others and always have a positive angle to them.

Let us begin!

5. Orphaned

Todays ashram is a double 5, as it is our 104th Ashram Mondays which adds down to a 5, same as our card of the week.

Number 5 is usually a symbol of balance; material and spiritual, Ying-Yang, outside and inside. But the card itself seems anything but balanced.

Let's look at the imagery and symbolisms used here.. in this deck there is always a 'divine face' as shown on the rock in which the figure sits in her nest, which is always the universe keeping an eye on you, there for you, always. The nest has always been symbolic of home and mothers love. The figure is part woman and part bird.. body of a human but their birds head rests low. This figure is someone who does not fit in anywhere.. is not all human or all bird and to me feels more of someone who does not fit in anywhere or does not feel like they fit in anywhere.

Today, for the first time since doing Ashram Monday's, I was asked to read the book definition. For this reason I have included the pages here for you to read.

If you have felt alone or isolated, have felt as if you don't belong around certain people in your life it may be time to let them go or address why it is that you feel abandoned. It is a card of cutting loose all that does not serve you and forging your own path finding balance within yourself.

It may be that the issue is within you.. something you need to make peace with before you are able to present yourself as whole to the world. Is there something you do that is a repeat cycle? Do you keep people away on purpose? Find what it is that has caused you to isolate within. It is sometimes those around you who cause hurt but it can also be that you self-sabotage and keep people away. Pay attention to your actions as this will normally give you signs as to what you will need to mend within. To live a wholesome, well balanced, fulfilled and happy life we are all responsible for our well being.. and you have all the right tools and power to make this happen!

Wherever you are, perhaps going through some changes yourself, then have a close look at what can be holding you back from all that you desire in your life. Sometimes it's easier to blame the outside world for what is going on inside but the most rewarding work and life will come from doing the internal work and finding balance in others comments and your own intuition and internal guidance.

Wishing you a blessed week ahead.

Love and Light☀️
