Happy Monday!

Pick-a-Card Reading

I hope you’ve all had a beautiful week snd Happy Easter Londay to all those who celebrate! It’s been sunny and wonderful here in Nottingham, Uk.. though we are told we are going to be back to winter weather this coming week.. so to kick start a snowy week here, hopefully better where you are, choose a card that calls to you for your message this week. I’ve chosen this deck as it’s actually a deck I don’t know much about.. the imagery are of sorcerers and snakes which usually are bad but here they are creatures of wisdom.. I will be mixing my knowledge of the Rider Waite Tarot with the images and book info on these for a well rounded reading.

Minor Arcana cards are those cards where you, or someone around you, have the power or control to alter the meaning of the card. Major Arcana’s usually mean that you are being guided towards this and have very little say in how things run as it is a set of cards which is run by the universe and is n. something you, or anyone around you can change.

So with that in mind as you are reading.. choose a card. You may find you’re drawn to more than one.. or none at all! This is a collective reading so the messages need to be applied using your discernment. Here we go! Close your eyes, take a deep breath, visualise the cards, feel yourself drawn to one and scroll down to your message.

Card no.1

Six of Wands

Minor Arcana: In traditional tarot, the 6 of Wands is a card of victory, coming home with the prize, success in your endeavours and generally a positive outcome in any area in your life. Wands is usually a fire sign; Aries, Leo or Sagittarius and as such can represent someone coming into your life that you have been expecting or have wished for. It is not normally a romantic card but it most certainly is a card of bringing home the prize, your goals or the arrival of these things.

If you have been expecting something or a situation with someone to come to fruition, this card is telling you that it is most certainly on its way. Success will be yours and the outcome is extremely positive. It may happen in the next 6 days for you as far as timing is concerned, or the 6th day or the 6th month, in June. All-in-all to receive this card is always a good omen.

My interpretation of this card without reading the notes: Please read the book description of this card as to me, intuitively, this card speaks of everything aligning at just the right time for you to finally have your success and be free of what’s held you back. The snake is in a flask that usually goes over bunsen burners in a science class so it does feel alchemical in some way, like the final creation is agile, fast and a natural hunter! The flowers and vines reap of harvest and Spring or Summer when everything comes to life but also bears resonance with success, growing your outcome and all things bearing fruit and coming to fruition. The glow above the flask is the light of success ahead.. do not loose hope or sight of what is to come. Feel positive as this is a positive card.. wishing you everything positive and success for your future.

Card no.2

0 The Innocent

Major Arcana: Otherwise known as The Fool card in tarot is a card about new beginnings, fresh start, a brand new adventure! This is the only card in a whole deck of 78 cards with the number 0. Other than people cards, Page, Knights, Kings and Queens, the other tarot cards all are numbered from 1 - 21 as Major Arcanas & it’s mirror denominators between 1-10.. 0, is before it all began, the very beginning, a start, new born!

This card comes to you today to tell you to launch yourself anew. A new start and a new day dawns it is time to release the old habits that no longer serve you, the old situations in your life, perhaps even the old job or methodologies.. there is a brand new you right now!

This card also represents new endeavours or a new physical journey so whether you have a new job, new home, move to a new location, start a new project or a new relationship.. the fool advises you to enjoy this beginning.. it is a Major Arcana and therefore it has come about by the universe or is being fully guided to you.

The Fool card is the card that preempts all follies or issues of the world.. it signals a successful new beginning and as such breathes that newness of energy that a fresh start bestows upon us all.

My interpretation of this card without reading the notes: Please read the book description of this card as to me, intuitively, it is a card of being able to see your future through the crystal ball and are able to avoid any downfalls or perils ahead. The ball glows a fresh new start.. what start depends on you and what you have planned for yourself. There are mountains and grasslands before you.. befitting of a brand new journey with luscious grand landscapes again which symbolises that the outcome you walk towards leads to stability and a great move. The Crystal ball also reminds me of the view in a telescope or a Monocular and the sun inside the view finder tells me it’s an extremely positive venture, but one must keep the ‘sunshine’ bright on course through whatever this journey holds that is unsavoury.

All-in-all this card brings a crisp fresh beginning to whoever receives it!

Card no.3

VIII MAAT

Major Arcana: Justice Card.. however the numerology does not correspond to Justice in the regular tarot deck, Justice is card number XI, 11, number of absolute balance and equal parts and measure. Number VIII, or 8, is the Strength card which is somewhat of a Wonder Woman or Superman card which advises you are strong snd can overcome any hurdles you may be facing in life. It is interesting in this deck that Justice is represented by the numerology of the card Strength as, to me, Justice may be both!

If there is a situation in your life that is unbalanced, you are going through litigation or a court case, you have been hard done by.. then this cards arrival signals that Justice will be done. By that, it may not always mean you win.. but what is fair will be the outcome. So if you have been in a situation where you need justice over a very unbalanced situation and you have been done out by it, then rest assured the situation will work out very positively for you. In other words.. you are guaranteed a win!

As this card is a Major Arcana, it is something the universe has been cooking up for you as you may have started the ball rolling or wished something to be resolved legally in your life.. but also on an emotional level.

If you have been waiting for an apology for something that was done to you or perhaps this is what you have done to someone else, now is the time for this apology to turn up, be dished out and put the world to rights. The Justice card also represents a Libra. If you have a significant Libra in your life that you have been awaiting the arrival of or perhaps even an apology must be had between you, this card advises that you will most certainly hear from them when the time is right. Otherwise there may be a Libra person in your life who will be bringing about a well awaited change for the better in your life.. be open to this and allow yourself to be swept in the positive energy this card brings.

My interpretation of this card without reading the notes: Please read the book description of this card as to me, intuitively, this Justice card signifies an ancient source of wisdom potentially from Egypt with the sarcophagus she is found in. Like the balance of all wisdom and the angels or eagles wings behind her, always a symbol of justice and peace, this woman stands as strong as a sculpture of the most resilient material, unmovable, in her wisdom to you.

If you have chosen card number 3, you’ve been having a tough time in one aspect or many of your life. This card is telling you not to worry as there is a very positive outcome & balance restored.
