If anyone has woken up to a snowy view this morning, like me, then you are truly blessed. That crisp snowy view and the sun shining makes today a pure joyous winter wonderland!

Opposite, to the colours of this card, is our message for today. ‘I find a deeper meaning and personal growth amid the discomfort’.. The message, to me, is a journey.. represented by the journey of the moon or a solar eclipse. The journeys purpose is simply this: each of our discomforts or sufferings have brought us wisdom and enlightenment we never had before we underwent that particular turbulence in life. From being partially eclipsed when we are in it, finding inner knowledge when we go through it to peace, understanding, wisdom and a comprehension we could not have had before or through this journey. It is very much, clarity gained and achieved.

Nerd fact.. we underwent an Annual Solar Eclipse on the 14th of December 2020 and we are headed for an Aquarius full moon between the 27th and 28th of January 2020.

The depiction on the card is certainly representative only, as we would see the Moon appear, at least from the UK, from Right to Left not as the card symbolically shows, Left to Right. Same as a Solar eclipse. After all we orbit and travel in the same direction as a solar system. I can’t see the moon suddenly saying, ‘nah.. I’m going this way today, mate!’ but as I said, the cards are symbolic only, however, the extra meaning I am getting here, is that we may feel like things are going backwards, getting worse, not changing or evolving as it should but in fact, we are not. Every second brings us closer to a solution.. every day; then every month. The great reveal comes only after time has passed and all we need to do is find our moments of happiness, now.

Anything related to the moon in tarot usually means deep feelings, confusion, hidden meanings and big revelations. It’s always a card that carries a depth that touches voids and yet the Sun card is its polar opposite and is the happiest card in the deck carrying clarity, great happiness, joy, success and a good outcome!

I hope you are not going through tough times right now but if you are, it is a phase like the movement of our solar system. It will pass, you will have clarity, there may be opposing forces at work in your life right now and you find yourself torn in the middle. For now, hang in there and ride this out and guide your thoughts, your present moment, towards happiness.
